ERCP Basic Course "Step-by-Step"

A warm welcome to the ERCP Campus!

During the ERCP Basic Course, three renowned, particularly experienced endoscopists will guide you through the theory, the practical techniques and evaluation in ERCP.

We train the ERCP technique intensively and personally in small groups on a computer simulator under expert supervision: from insertion of the duodenoscope through to intubation of the papillae. In parallel, various endoscopic applications/results are presented and discussed on a video system.

The high degrees of realism of this endoscopy/ERCP simulator, deployed worldwide and acknowledged by experts in the field, allows you to gather your first practical experience in a pleasant setting. This would be possible, for example, by using 3D position control during the ongoing examination and the didactically valuable feature of automated logging of each endoscopic application. The generation of computer-aided evaluations in practical exercises is another component of the programme and is a useful way of rounding off ERCP practical training.
