Hygienic Reprocessing of Flexible Endoscopes

The problem concerning the hygienic reprocessing of flexible endoscopes is an increasingly discussed topic in the medical press.

Since popular magazines and even television have taken up this issue (more or less objectively), which has made an essential contribution to the progress of diagnostics and has saved innumerable lives since its introduction, an examination technique is under threat of falling into disrepute.

We would therefore like to offer a special service, thus serving as a "catalyst" for the exchange of information, to provide you personally, as a doctor or assistant practicing endoscopy, with even greater assurance when it comes to reprocessing your endoscopes. We have brought hygiene and endoscopy specialists together with manufacturers and distributors of endoscopes, cleaning-disinfection devices (RDG-E) and cleaning/disinfection agents in order to shed more light on the sometimes contradictory recommendations on reprocessing.

Besides our one-day hygiene courses, that are free of charge, we also offer two-day courses which include a visit to one of our PENTAX Service Centres in Germany. These courses are organised in association with ASP ADVANCED STERILIZATION PRODUCTS
and BODE.
