The PENTAX inspection – a wise option. When endoscopes are used over long periods of time and/or for large numbers of examinations, mechanical stress may induce signs of wear and tear or material fatigue. Early detection and professional rectification of slight defects as part of a PENTAX inspection check can prevent more serious faults from occurring. Your PENTAX field service technician will inform you about the current condition of your endoscope on the spot and, if necessary, expertly correct any small defects straight away. Should the PENTAX inspection check reveal that a larger repair job needs to be carried out on your endoscope in the near future, this will be documented in the inspection report. This information enables you to draw up a reliable utilisation plan for your endoscope. The service portfolio at a glance:
The time needed for the PENTAX inspection can range from about 45 minutes to one hour per appliance, depending on the condition of your endoscope. To avoid disrupting your regular endoscopy schedule, we recommend arranging the PENTAX inspection check outside surgery/examination hours: on Wednesday afternoons, during the holidays or at the end of the quarter, for example. You can make an appointment with your Field force technician or your nearest PENTAX Service centre at any time. |
